The third installment of the SummerSingerSongwriterSeries!
The Midnight Anthem (TMA) is a musical trio from New England, made up of Catherine, Sophia & Grace...cousins by birth, but sisters at heart. The group has an uncanny knack for creating music that is both fun to listen to and touches the soul. They play an eclectic blend of covers & originals, and their music can be described as country, rock & everything in between!
They have performed for audiences throughout the northeast & New England, traveling all over Connecticut, Rhode Island, the Berkshires & New York City. For Tim McGraw's 2022 tour, they were featured at the VIP portion of the pre-show festivities in Syracuse, NY. Recent appearances include bars, breweries, churches, celebrations, coffee houses, fairs, farms, fundraisers, museums, music festivals, private parties, radio stations, restaurants, town greens, TV and more.
The Midnight Anthem has been compared to a wide range of performers from yesteryear such as America, The Cranberries, The Eagles, Fleetwood Mac, and Simon & Garfunkle. They have also been influenced by Glen Campbell, Johnny Cash, Carol King, Dolly Parton & James Taylor, as well as twenty-first century artists including Miranda Lambert, Lady Antebellum, Halsey, Luke Bryan, Maren Morris, Paramore, Tim McGraw and Taylor Swift.
A show with The Midnight Anthem is always a fun experience, creating great memories, and you'll leave looking forward to the next one!
Ian Campbell grew up in Connecticut with seventeen entertaining and musical brothers and sisters. Outrageous family dinner time jam sessions, with instruments like "salt shaker" and "nose" gave Ian a love for music and performance.
After spending five years in the military, Ian drove around the country, adjusting back to civilian life. It was in these travels that Ian cracked open and found the songwriter within.
Ian IS the quintessential singer/songwriter; and with his heart on his sleeve, he walks the line between spirituality and humanity... His honest and vulnerable lyrics, decorated with intricate finger-style guitar, open tunings, and powerful piano, blends so well with his soothing voice, and welcoming presence. His music explores the deeper places that make you laugh, cry, hurt, and heal; and always... always looking for the light.
As an endorsed clinician for Ovation guitar, A director and teacher for the National Guitar Workshop, and a full time, traveling singer/songwriter, Ian has honed the sound, communication, experience, and feels of a powerful live performance. His obvious goal is to have you leave with your spirits raised.
